I was introduced to internet when I was still in college, which is around 13 years ago. I remember clearly I was totally no idea of what internet is, and what I need to do with it! A senior who sat next to me (in the computer lab) then teach me to try out the search engine site first. Later, a dear friend explain to me that, I can always use the search engine to search whatever information I want by just typing the name and click the search. Well, it was fun for sure, especially for a beginner who never seen colorful on the screen! That time, we are using the 14.4kbps speed connection and we have no problem with it! LOL

Nowadays, we are no longer using the 14.4kbps speed connection. Instead, we are using at least 1Mbps speed connection and we are still compliant it was slow. Well, 1Mbps connection is just fine for me and I have no problem with it, but of course it will be better if the connection is 1.5mbps from Qwest.

I have been heard of the Qwest phone service and Qwest high speed Internet for quite some time. They are the leading internet service provider company who is using the fast speed fiber optic connection. Yes, fiber optic connection is way much faster than a normal DSL cable connection! This reason is more than enough for you to subscribe to their service. Furthermore, the monthly fee for the high speed connection is only at an affordable $19.99 per month.

If 1.5mbps is not fast enough for you, you can anytime upgrade the package to 7mbps speed connection. Yeah, it is 7mbps, about 4 to 5 times faster than 1.5mbps! With this speed, I am sure you have no problem to download any large file from the net!

Lately, I have been busy checking out the hotels and villas of Bali. Remember that I was told that hotel in Bali is very cheap and we should stay in a villa if we are going to Bali. Seems like it is a must-try in bali. Anyway, there are a lot of the villas and also hotels available in bali, from budget to five star rated! I was like so confuse with the area name when I first read about Bali, anyway lucky that I found a Bali map from the internet and finally understand the location of each place and tourism spot.

So far we plan to stay at Kuta and Ubud since it was our first time to Bali. I think we shall follow most tourist do when they first time go to Bali. After discuss with friends, we finally decide to stay at a home resort in Ubud and a three stars hotel in Kuta. The hotel in Ubud has huge Baths for each of the room. While the hotel at Kuta is nearby to a shopping mall and beach. Most important is, the rate is not expensive with its good reviews at most traveler website and forum.

My friend is an accountant. Surprising, she was a treasurer too during the school time at about 15 years ago. It seems like she is very close related with all sort of thing that related to money, as well as her job. LOL I believe that her accounting skill is as good as the Las Vegas CPA accounting and taxation services.

During the school time last time, I like account too. But then later I dislike it. The reason is very simple which is I hate the homework, especially the never ending T lines. Very irritating to draw the T lines…

The recent free seat promotion is really a good deal. I grab another 4 tickets to Bali and pay only RM25 per ticket for return. A very good deal, right? LOL anyway, it was not easy to grab the deal as it took me nearly 2 hours of my beauty sleep to complete the booking.

Our company has a long list of debts which amounting nearly to 150k! Mind you, all of the debtors are boss’s friend! I think these friends thought we are charity and never want to return money to us.

When they want to repair their car, they send it to us and mentioned that will pay for it later and ask the bill to address to our company. But they never pay for it the moment they collect the car for us. Well, maybe we can just blame the boss for being so good to the friends. Sometimes when I ask them for money, they will tell me that they will refer to the boss and deal with him directly. At the end, the debts were sat in the account for months and years.

It might be a good idea to get the Collection Agency to act on behalf of us to collect the debts. In fact, a lot of bankers outsource the collection department to these collection agents to act for them for the debts collection. The company pays to the collection agent only if the money is collected and it was based on a commission basis.

Let’s propose to the boss first….. LOL

I was always thinking, when I will have the opportunity to attend Riviera maya destination weddings. Yeah, I am married, so definitely no more destination for me, but just attend people’s destination wedding. too bad as I don’t have any friend which is rich to afford for a destination wedding. Actually destination wedding is not expensive as all as the couple can always combine it with the honeymoon. But it will be costly if there are any guests to invite. LOL the wedding will not be fun if there are no guests around to share the moments with you.

After checking with a few programmer and discuss for months, finally the boss has decided to choose one from few of them. So sorry to others who has spent so much time to us but fail to get the project.

The Fleet program presented by the programmer A is the best among other. According to him, this program is something similar to the hotel reservation system. Or maybe should said like this, basically both of the car rental system and hotel reservation system are similar. Well, this is what the programmer told us and we just listen to him.

According to the proposal, the system will be ready in 3 months times and we are offers another 3 months to test and try out the program. However, we have a problem here, which is the current database is too difficult to migrate to the new system. Which means, the new systems is come with empty database and we have to manually enter all the data of our nearly 300 units of vehicle!! Anyway, I am not belong to their company so this is nothing to me and I to watch how many works they will have later when the system is ready. LOL

I was kind of shocking when I found out how some people neglect the office rule.

It was the first time I know there is such ‘technique’ to make an amendment on a punch card. Obviously the purpose of editing punch card is wanted to cheat for more overtime. I thought the only way to cheat for overtime is remain stay in the office until you want to leave. Ya, I never know that actually we can amend the punch card with other people knowing it, of course the ink of the punch card machine must be a bit fade out instead of sharp and dark in color. I wonder if all eraser work to erase the ink…. LOL

Actually I do believe that there is a lot of cheat can be made if the rule and regulation of a company is not strong. They can always cheat for the Auto Allowance or medical claim without doing much work. Well, the boss must have to be smart enough to know about this and try to prevent this to be happened to the company.

I mist admit that we have a very good boss, as we can always get our auto allowance claim easily without much checking and question. It was like, what u get is what u want. LOL

A relative invite us to her kid’s birthday party. I think it will be fun to attend such birthday party in a five stars hotel, especially for the kids. And of course, we adult will be happy too because of the nice and delicious food from a well known five stars hotel. The birthday party is only in another 2 weeks later and I think we are short of time to prepare for a birthday present to her.

We will be very busy for the coming weekend as there will be the gal’s school annual concert by this weekend and I have an appointment with doctor too by this weekend. Then next weekend, there will be parent teacher day at the gal’s school and I still haven’t applied leave to attend for the event.

Hopefully we can sneak some time to look for the baseball equipment as the birthday present. The birthday gal likes to play baseball and I think, she will love it if I get her something about the baseball. LOL in fact, this is the only thing appear in my mind when I thinking of the birthday present.

Ops, I just remember that maybe i can buy the birthday present online!!! LOL

A friend has just moving from a rented property to a own landed property. It was a good move as paying the housing installment is always much worthy than paying a house rental, as the ownership of house is not belong to you forever for a rented property. With the low interest rate nowadays, buying a house is a good choice now.

Talking about moving, I believe a lot of people hate it as the entire moving process has a lot of work actually. It was not only pack and unpack. Instead, you have to sort out all your belongings inside the every corner of the house. And not forgotten the cleaning work.

Label the packed box is always a good idea so that we can easily get to take out the item by just picking up which box to open. Imagine how you going to guess and check out the box one by one if the boxes are not labeled. LOL btw, if you are afford to pay for the moving company like Boston Moving to help you out, it will be the best. With the help from them, all you need to do it, sit back, relax and enjoy your new home.

The coming project is a bit tough as I have to plan very well on the connecting transport from one place to another. Yea, have to get the accurate time for both the departure and arrival. Anyway, I think this shouldn’t be a problem as this information can easily get from their website.

Japan is a very high tech and advance country. I can access to all sort of information from the web, as well as make reservation to almost all of the restaurants, besides the hotel. Could you believe it, I can actually book a table from the internet and view their menu from the web too.

Another thing which I like Japan the most is, they are so polite and ‘educated’. The Japanese won’t throw the rubbish anywhere, anytime like other country, and they always follow the queue instead of ‘jump queue’. Also, they will not smoking inside a shopping mall, or shall said that, they only smoking at smoking area. I think they have did a very good job to provide the Quit Smoking Information to the publicity. Tell you, there is only very little smoking area available in Japan, especially inside the theme park like Disneyland. Yes, no one is smoking while walking down the theme park.

We attended a good friend’s wedding over the weekend. The gal very excited saw me wearing the ring, she keep wanted me to show it to her and of course, want me to let her try the ring also. Seeing her like jewelry so much, I took out the silver necklace and wear it for her. The necklace comes with a diamond pendant and she loves it very much. During the entire wedding dinner, I was so worry if she accidentally lost the diamond as it is a real diamond instead of fake stone. Lucky that the necklace was on her neck for the entire night.

I will be busy by the coming few months as I have 2 projects on hand to be finished before the Chinese New Year. Besides the one for my customer, I have to prepare mine also. Btw, our destinations are different and I wonder if I can cope with that much of information or not.

I am now serious in thinking whether I should continue study at such old age or not. It was a hard decision as I have not gone to school for more than 15 years and now, I have to restudy again.

In fact, I noticed that it is very uneasy to survive without a proper certificate. Thus, I was thinking I should work hard for my dream of being a degree holder. But again, do I have time for it? A friend introduced an online university for me which the time of study is much flexible as compare to a conventional university.

Forgetful I forgot to return the octopus card for deposit and balance refund. The 3 octopus cards still sit nicely in my wallet. I am wondering if we have any chances to visit Hong Kong again. Anyway, if there is then most probably we will go to Disneyland only and only after the park has expanded.

I have an airport express octopus card which was bought about 5 years ago. We didn’t utilize the return airport express that time as we decided to take the bus instead which is much easier.

Lucky that we didn’t throw the card away as we manage to get a refund of deposit and one way journey which is cost about HKD70 each. Not bad.

It is every gal’s wish to have a dream destination weddings. Destination wedding is sort of romantic and unforgettable and of course if money is not an issue. LOL

Lately, a lot of people had their destination wedding at Bali. Bali is famous with the romantic and privacy villa. Tell you, the more I read about the island, the more I feel like want to have holiday at that island. What’s more, the price of spa is so reasonable there. All ladies love to indulge themselves with spa treatment. Don’t you agree with me?

Sigh… can’t wait for a trip to Bali!!

This is the proof of how much I pay to the hotel for a night stay at Nathan Hotel. I know a lot of people don’t believe it as the rate is really very cheap for a standard hotel in Hong Kong.

The rate show is HKD388, exclude tax. Hotel in Hong Kong charge a tax of 10%, which is total of HKD426.80 after tax.
